The Professional Women in Building Council (PWB) is the voice of women in the building industry — dedicated to promoting industry professionalism and supporting members at the local, state and national levels. Through education, professional development and networking opportunities, PWB helps members acquire and develop invaluable leadership and business management skills that boost career success. 



Builders, new-homes sales or marketing professionals, real estate agents, market researchers, interior designers, advertisers, sales consultants and architects can all find a home with the Sales and Marketing Council to keep their businesses thriving.

The council connects people and builds careers through education, information, resources and networking.


The Builders and Remodelers Council consists of members who are involved in the remodeling industry. Council members enjoy a wide variety of benefits and resources, including exclusive professional development, industry-specific education, networking opportunities, leadership grants, and awards and recognition programs that help you strengthen and protect your business.



The BIA’s Builder and Developer Council serves as an information hub for housing creation in central Ohio by informing and discussing critical issues related to land development and construction throughout our region. Participants learn of policy impacts throughout the region and help shape and advise staff on the challenges and opportunities in residential construction throughout central Ohio.


The Young Professionals committee steers efforts to make membership more useful and attractive to home building professionals under 45. The committee provides leadership with guidance on mentoring, leadership training and education for emerging industry professionals.





The Multi-Family Council of the Building Industry Association (BIA) of Central Ohio is dedicated to advancing excellence in the multi-family development and construction industry within our region. Our mission is to promote collaboration, innovation, and professional growth among industry stakeholders, fostering the creation of exceptional multi-family properties that enhance our communities and improve the quality of life for residents. Through education, networking, and advocacy, we strive to elevate the standards of multi-family development and construction, while also fostering improved relationships with local governments to create a more conducive regulatory environment that supports sustainable growth in Central Ohio's vibrant communities.


The Workforce Development Committee of the Building Industry Association of Central Ohio is dedicated to cultivating a skilled, diverse, and innovative workforce in residential construction. Our mission is to bridge the gap between talent and opportunity, ensuring the sustainable growth of our industry and community. Through strategic partnerships, educational programs, and advocacy, we commit to empowering individuals with the tools and knowledge necessary for successful careers in construction, thereby enhancing the quality, efficiency, and accessibility of housing in our region.
