Corporate contributions are prohibited. Contributions to City of Columbus candidates/officeholders from individuals and other committees are limited to $16,615.67 per calendar year. For persons who may seek future contractual work with the City Attorney's office, the award of a contract in certain instances may be barred if aggregate contributions from a business owner or owner's spouse exceed $1,000 during the two calendar years prior to the award of the contract. This provision does not apply to contributions from political action committees.
